We are a vibrant, community driven retail experience, offering the Gold Coast's largest selection of international confectionery and grocery items. Captain's Candy has been located at Ashmore Factory Outlets for fifteen years, and is known for sweet-treats, hard to find snacks, trending global products and nostalgic goodies.
Since Tania took ownership in 2022, Captain's Candy has become known for excellent customer service.
What truly sets us apart from our competitors is the breadth and diversity of our range which includes foods and drinks from Australia, New Zealand, The Americas, The UK, The Netherlands and more. We cater to in-store, online and corporate customers continually evolving our product range in response to consumer demand which is largely driven by social media trends. In fact, many of the products you see on our shelves today started as a special request from a customer.
We create moments of joy, nostalgia and connection. For many of our customers walking into our store is like being transported back to childhood, or feeling instantly connected to a place they once called home. Whether it's an American cereal they tried on a family trip and have been craving since, a Dutch croquette that reminds them of their grandmother's cooking, or childhood treats that they haven't seen in years, we help people relive memories, share traditions and create new experiences with loved ones.
Beyond what we sell, it's how we show up for our community that truly makes a difference. We celebrate life with our customers; helping them prepare for baby showers, weddings, birthdays and milestones big and small. For some, a visit to Captain's Candy is the most looked forward to part of their week. We share in our customers highs and lows, we know many of our customers by name, we know their favourite treats and we share in their stories. The kind of genuine connection we build extends far beyond the transaction. We truly feel honoured to play the role that we do in our community every single day.

Captain's Candy has received numerous accolades, including a Gold Coast Girls In Business award nomination, two consecutive Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards in the Retail, Wholesale and Distribution monthly category, as well as recognition from APAC insider and Corporate Vision
However, our proudest achievement to date is the opening of our second retail location at Burleigh Heads.
